Sara McCormick represents clients in a variety of commercial real estate matters, including all phases of leasing, acquisition, disposition, and development transactions. She regularly represents investors and developers in the formation of, and investment in, real estate joint ventures. Sara also has significant expertise representing family offices and universities in support of their real estate needs.

Her clients include national and international companies and real estate owners, operators, and developers, including those in the multifamily, office, education, life science, and industrial sectors.

Representative Matters

Sales and Acquisitions

  • Represented prominent PA headquartered owner, developer, and management company in the sale of its interests in a partnership that owned a residential complex in Bensalem, Pennsylvania, consisting of over 1,000 units, in a deal valued at over $151 million.
  • Represented a national investor and developer in the purchase of two apartment buildings containing approximately 450 units and a 400-space garage and mixed-use retail building in a transaction involving complex transfer tax structuring, and forward and reverse 1031 exchanges.
  • Represents a family office in connection with their real estate investments and ventures, including the acquisition, in a transfer tax efficient structure, of a luxury apartment complex on a 32-acre campus with historic structures, the acquisition of an age-restricted apartment complex in New Jersey, and the sale of an office building property, among other general matters.
