Fatema M. Ghasletwala


Fatema Ghasletwala focuses her practice on a variety of intellectual property matters, particularly in the fields of technology and consumer goods. She counsels clients on copyright and trademark strategy issues, including clearance, prosecution, enforcement, maintenance, expungement, and reexamination. She handles domain name disputes and drafts a variety of intellectual property agreements, including licensing agreements.

Prior to joining Ballard Spahr, Fatema worked in the intellectual property department of an Am Law 100 law firm.

  • Domestic and international intellectual property portfolio management.
  • Comprehensive counseling on brand creation, clearance, and trademark and service mark enforcement matters.
  • Prosecution of trademark and service mark applications and inter partes disputes before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
