Washington Post Project Supported by Ballard Spahr Honored by Investigative Reporters & Editors

April 3, 2023

The Washington Post's project "Foreign Servants" has won the Investigative Reporters & Editors Freedom of Information Award.

Reporting on the project took two years, and Chuck Tobin and Maxwell S. Mishkin helped the Post reporters file and litigate 24 Freedom of Information Act requests and obtain 4,000 records. Mr. Tobin leads the firm's Media and Entertainment Law Group, of which Mr. Mishkin is a member.
