Ballard Spahr's Damon Barry Named to Mile High United Way Board of Trustees
The Mile High United Way addresses critical human services issues facing the seven-county metro Denver, Boulder, and Broomfield communities. Its Board of Trustees is a diverse and committed group of local business and community leaders who support the mission of Mile High United Way—uniting people, ideas, and resources to advance the common good.
Mr. Barry is a member of Ballard Spahr’s Expanded Board and an experienced M&A and government affairs attorney. He solves problems for his clients and assists companies with complex business and legal transactions. He advises and represents both buyers and sellers in mergers and acquisitions, recapitalizations, and sophisticated commercial transactions. His clients include directors and executives of public companies, owners of closely held companies, executives and directors of government agencies and others in a wide range of industries including software and technology, retail, hospitality, food and beverage, real estate, cannabis, financial services, government, and manufacturing.
“I’m fortunate to have the opportunity to work with an organization that does as much good as the Mile High United Way,” Mr. Barry said. “The work the Mile High United Way does is measurably improving our community at a time when it’s very much needed, and I look forward to being a part of helping it carry out its mission.”
