Where We Stand

We condemn in the strongest possible terms the brutal and unjustifiable acts of terrorism by Hamas on civilian communities in Israel. Hundreds are dead, wounded, and kidnapped, and distraught families are left not knowing whether missing loved ones are among those murdered or taken hostage. Many in the Ballard Spahr community have friends and loved ones in the region. We stand with them and support all who suffer and grieve as a result of these shocking events.

We also stand by our Jewish lawyers and staff members, clients, friends, neighbors, and business associates who are concerned about the potential for more anti-Semitic violence and who are feeling even more vulnerable. As events in Israel reverberate across our country, it is critical that we support those impacted, both in Israel and the United States.

We are horrified by what we have witnessed and by the events that continue to unfold. Our hearts are with those who have suffered loss and who are hurting and feeling despair, fear, and uncertainty.
