Ballard Spahr attorneys have worked on large projects powered by a variety of fossil fuels and a growing number of renewable-energy projects.

- Assisting in the acquisition of environmental permits and siting approvals
- Undertaking litigation to challenge permit terms, defending third-party challenges to project approvals, and defending enforcement, nuisance, or other claims brought under federal, state, or local environmental laws by regulatory agencies or private parties
