Amy T. Shepherd is Ballard Spahr's Chief Marketing and Business Development Officer and a member of the firmwide Management Committee. She is responsible for overseeing, implementing, and providing strategic leadership for the firm’s marketing and business development initiatives, including communications, operations, business intelligence, and media relations.
Amy is an adviser to the firm's strategic planning, industry analysis, client value, and cross-selling initiatives. She has more than 25 years of leadership experience in business development, marketing, and sales, and provides tactical support and counsel on issues involving client development, data management, practice support, and marketing technology.
Amy oversees a team of marketing, business development, and communications professionals across the United States. Before joining Ballard Spahr, Amy held marketing leadership roles at several global law firms.
