Kiira Weber is a consumer finance litigator who focuses her practice on matters relating to credit card companies and TCPA claims. She has experience drafting response briefs, drafting wills and trusts, preparing simple and complex tax returns, assisting with litigation pleadings indices and closing books, and reviewing discovery content.

Prior to Ballard Spahr, Kiira worked at an Estate Planning firm where she primarily worked on trust funding matters and guardianship proceedings. She also helped prepare a brief for a successful trust litigation case that went to the South Dakota Supreme Court. As an intern at a Litigation firm, Kiira assisted with a major medical malpractice case.

During Law School, Kiira was the president of the University of South Dakota School of Law’s Veteran’s Legal Education Group and coordinated free legal clinics for veterans. Kiira also served on the Moot Court Board, both as a competitor and as the Board’s business planner, and competed in tournaments relating to criminal procedure, constitutional law, evidence, and bankruptcy.

Pro Bono Experience

Kiira works on asylum cases and has assisted with creating 501(c)(3) non-profits.
