Garrett Weber's trademark practice focuses on brand protection and emphasizes branding strategy, clearance, trademark registration process, and exceptional service. He works with companies across numerous industries, such as food, technology, retail, and consumer products. He works with clients to develop a common sense, strategic approach to protecting their brands and ensuring that they are as strong as possible.

In addition to protecting his client’s brands through the trademark registration process, Garrett also works to protect the brands against infringers through administrative and court proceedings. He has handled and successfully resolved numerous disputes before the U.S. Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. Garrett also has experience in all areas of intellectual property, including trade secrets, copyrights, and patent litigation.

Representative Experience

  • Trademark counsel for Angie's Boom Chicka Pop, a fast-growing Minnesota-based snack food company, and worked to secure new trademark registrations for product expansions and rebranding.
  • Maintains and protects an extensive brand and trademark portfolio for Performance Food Group, one of the nation’s largest foodservice distributors.
  • Launched an international brand protection strategy for a personal care products company as part of an international product expansion.
  • Protected the key brand name of a national sporting goods retailer against a competitor, and strengthened the brand by securing trademark registrations.
  • Secured federal trademark rights to support an expansion strategy for Wealth Enhancement Group, a wealth management company expanding nationally with new offices.
