
Jessica Watkins is an associate in the firm's Intellectual Property Department who focuses on domestic and international trademark portfolio management, brand development and protection, and trademark and copyright litigation and enforcement. She drafts and prosecutes trademark and copyright applications, advising clients throughout the process, from clearance through registration. Jessica regularly represents clients in opposition and cancellation proceedings before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office's Trademark Trial and Appeal Board in cases alleging damage by the registration of a trademark. She has developed and executed brand development and enforcement strategies in the design patent, trademark, copyright, and anti-counterfeiting spaces.
During law school, Jessica worked as a research and teaching assistant at Villanova School of Law and was a certified legal intern in Villanova's Interdisciplinary Mental and Physical Health Law Clinic.
