Allyson Veile

Allyson Veile is an associate in the firm’s Litigation Department, focusing her practice on commercial litigation matters. She has experience researching relevant law, reviewing documents, and drafting discovery requests, memoranda, and motions to assist clients with complex, high-stakes matters. Prior to joining Ballard Spahr, Allyson worked as a student attorney with the Duke Law First Amendment Clinic and as extern at the North Carolina Office of the Solicitor General.

Pro Bono Experience

Allyson’s pro bono work includes preparing expungement and pardon applications, as well as representing an asylum seeker in removal proceedings. As a law student, Allyson volunteered with the office of the Durham Public Defender, the Duke Law Veterans’ Assistance Project, and the Duke Law Fair Chance Project.
