Adam H. Settle is an attorney in the firm's Litigation Department who focuses his practice on matters pertaining to consumer financial services. Adam regularly represents lenders and servicers in collection and credit card-related litigation. He participates in all aspects of litigation and discovery, including responding to preliminary objections, drafting motions, and conducting depositions.
Before coming to Ballard, Adam assisted in the prosecution of class action litigation and antitrust matters resulting from the manipulation of derivatives benchmarks. Adam also has experience in drafting memoranda and court filings for pharmaceutical actions.
During law school, Adam participated in the Third Circuit Appellate Mediation Program where he drafted case summaries and consulted with the Chief Mediator during mediation sessions. Adam also completed an externship with the Hon. Judge Michael A. Baylson in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
