Thomas practices real estate law, representing mortgage lenders in commercial real estate financing transactions. Prior to joining Ballard Spahr, Thomas served as a law clerk for the Hon. Liam P. Hardy and the Hon. Margaret A. Ryan with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces, where he drafted judicial opinions on issues arising in the military justice system. During law school, Thomas interned for the Immigration Department of Catholic Charities, where he completed applications for undocumented victims of domestic abuse to become legal permanent residents.
