Chelsea Sissom is an associate focused on commercial litigation matters. As a former Ballard Spahr summer associate, she assisted in drafting motions and researched a variety of legal issues, including civil procedure, Title IX, and constitutional issues in public schools.

During law school, Chelsea worked as a student law clerk for the Hon. L. Felipe Restrepo of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, where she drafted opinions, summarized parties’ briefs, and attended oral arguments. Chelsea also served as a certified legal intern for the ACLU of Pennsylvania.

Prior to attending law school, Chelsea worked as an elementary school teacher for eight years at Montessori schools in Pennsylvania and Florida. Before her teaching career, she worked as an animal trainer and performer in Orlando, Florida.
