Michael L. Schuster is an associate in Ballard Spahr’s Denver office and focuses his practice on bankruptcy, restructuring, creditor’s rights, and business litigation. Michael’s bankruptcy experience includes representation of lenders, landlords, financial institutions, distressed businesses, and trustees in business and consumer cases under all chapters of the Bankruptcy Code.

Michael’s extensive litigation experience also includes secured transactions, landlord/tenant disputes, breaches of fiduciary duty, insurance coverage, and consumer protection. Michael has participated in numerous bench and jury trials in both federal and state courts. Michael’s Florida state court experience also includes representations in appeals before the Florida District Courts of Appeal in cases involving breach of contract, corporate disclosures, and real estate development, including successfully obtaining a reversal of a trial court order finding a privilege waiver in Prime Group, LLC v. Abbo, 171 So. 3d 234 (Fla. 4th DCA 2015)).
