Lara Ruggerio is an associate in the firm’s Intellectual Property Department, focusing her practice on domestic and international trademark portfolio management, brand development and protection, and trademark and copyright litigation and enforcement. Furthermore, Lara has extensive experience in litigation, managing all aspects of discovery, preparing for and defending depositions, and appearing at motions and case management conferences. Lara is also experienced in handling domain name disputes and drafting take-down requests.
Pro Bono Experience
In 2018, Lara was awarded the Dorothy Day Pro Bono Service Award, acknowledging her completion of 60+ hours of pro bono work throughout law school. In addition, as a student in Villanova Law’s Mental and Physical Health Law Clinic, she represented clients at hearings before the Social Security Administration and filed subsequent briefings related to Social Security claims in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the Third Circuit Court of Appeals.
