Shauna Pierson is a transactional attorney who counsels publicly traded and privately held companies on a broad spectrum of corporate law matters. She works on mergers and acquisitions transactions, with a particular focus in the health care and higher education fields. Prior to beginning law school, Shauna worked with securitization transactions across multiple asset classes. She was instrumental in coordinating the first wave of Tender Option Bond transactions to comply with newly implemented Dodd-Frank regulations.

Shauna also does compliance and anti-money laundering work. She advises clients on BSA and AML matters, including government and internal investigations.

Shauna currently assists pro bono clients with criminal pardons. While attending law school, Shauna served an internship with the Youth Sentencing and Reentry Project, where she assisted juvenile lifers with reentry planning as they prepared to return to their communities.
