Theophilus R. Nix, Jr.

Earlier in his career, Theo managed contracts, procurement, and construction projects for a variety of companies, including a leading national real estate developer and a global construction management corporation. He is the former Executive Director of the Dukes County Regional Housing Authority in Oak Bluffs, Massachusetts, and served as the construction and contracting attorney for the Boston Housing Authority, one of the nation's largest public housing agencies. Theo's background also includes experience as development and communications director of a nonprofit social and health care services agency serving Latinos and migrant farm workers.

Theo is a former elected member of the Finance & Advisory Committee in the Town of Oak Bluffs, which oversees town budgeting and financial matters. Theo also has experience as an entrepreneur and has started multiple companies from scratch, including a development and construction business that grew to employ more than 45 people, and a drone technology employment, education, and training company.
