Addison Morgan is an associate in the firm’s Litigation Department. Addison focuses his practice on commercial litigation and dispute resolution matters. As a Ballard summer associate in 2018 and 2019, Addison conducted research and drafted memoranda on a variety of legal issues including the Freedom of Information Act; national banking associations and their citizenship for purposes of federal diversity jurisdiction; and whether non-resident entities may benefit from laws outside of their domicile by relying upon choice-of-law provisions. Addison also reviewed subpoenas, interrogatories, requests for production, and drafted deficiency letters in anticipation of a discovery dispute conference with opposing counsel.
Pro Bono Experience
As a 2018 summer associate, Addison established an LLC for a pro bono client by drafting its Articles of Incorporation and Operation Agreement.
