Cassandra Lewis is an intellectual property associate who focuses on IP litigation matters. She formerly worked as a summer associate for two summers at Ballard Spahr, where she researched and drafted memoranda, pleadings, and correspondence across a variety of legal areas, including an amicus brief for a federal appellate court case.
During law school, Cassandra served at the Arizona State University First Amendment Clinic, where she worked on cases involving the First Amendment, including writing an amicus brief for a Supreme Court case, drafting demand letters on behalf of journalists, and conducting prepublication reviews.
Cassandra served a judicial externship in federal court in Phoenix in 2023, for which she drafted memoranda and orders for motions. Prior to that, she worked as a law clerk at a Phoenix family law firm, where she worked with clients and assisted with drafting motions and pleadings.
