Maribeth Lemen is an associate in the firm’s Finance Department, focusing on commercial matters. She advises on legal matters related to financial services, particularly with respect to secured and asset-based financings. Maribeth represents senior lenders and borrowers in all aspects of leveraged financings, syndicated loan transactions, and structured financings, and other related loan transactions. Maribeth has also represented private equity firms, venture capital firms, and mid-size businesses in both the equity and debt sides of mergers and acquisitions, commercial contract negotiation, and general corporate matters.

Prior to her role at Ballard Spahr, Maribeth was a Covenants Analyst at Reorg Research where she specialized in distressed debt and provided analysis on indentures and credit agreements, created summaries of various debt documents, and provided financial analysis for subscribers.
