Niki Ikahihifo-Bender counsels and represents clients on a full range of domestic and international intellectual property matters. Her practice includes helping companies of all sizes grow their brands through trademark clearance, selection, use, registration, licensing, and enforcement, as well as copyright registration, licensing, and enforcement. Niki also litigates trademark, copyright, trade secret, and patent cases. Her clients' industries include art, fashion, fitness, retail, restaurants, software, pharmaceutics, and biotechnology.

Pro Bono Experience

Niki maintains an active pro bono practice. She has represented refugees in asylum applications, helped non-profit dance schools to overcome music copyright issues, and successfully registered trademarks and copyrights for small businesses. During law school, Niki volunteered with Volunteer Income Tax Assistance and the Duke Law Innocence Project.
