
Fanta Freeman is an associate in the Litigation Department. Fanta focuses her practice on Title IX and white collar investigations, and Title IX compliance. She has worked with university clients to develop policy and practices in accordance with Title IX regulations. As part of her white collar investigations experience, Fanta has supported the facilitation of attorney-client proffers and client interviews. Fanta also works on complex-commercial litigation matters involving contract and licensing-dispute resolution. She was a fellow of the Philadelphia Diversity Law Group and worked as a 2017 and 2018 Ballard Spahr summer associate.
During law school, Fanta interned with the Hon. Marlene Lachman in the Court of Common Pleas of Pennsylvania where she drafted legal memoranda on issues arising under civil litigation. Prior to attending law school, Fanta served as a 2013 Teach for America corps member, during which she taught middle school for three years.
