Daniel L. Delnero represents a range of companies and individuals in complex, high-risk litigation involving banking and finance, First Amendment law, TCPA constitutional due process challenges, corporate fraud, and state law tort actions. His significant litigation experience includes first-chair trial and arbitration experience and appellate argument in cases in which over $20 million is at issue. He has also prevailed on summary judgment and motions to dismiss in cases involving the TCPA, defamation, Anti-SLAPP, insurance coverage disputes, and fraudulent transfers.

Daniel has also represented companies faced with intrusive government investigations and enforcement actions, including matters brought by the Department of Justice Antitrust Division, Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection, FCC, and state attorneys general. In this capacity, Daniel has achieved confidential close letters following multi-year investigations and private agreements not to prosecute that never entered the public record. Daniel’s broad experience in regulatory enforcement matters has allowed him to develop expertise in leading internal investigations into both internal and external corporate fraud and regulatory violations.

In addition to his litigation practice, Daniel advises clients on compliance with federal and state consumer financial protection law and regulation and helps clients develop strategies for cross-border consumer lending. His experience includes serving as lead US regulatory counsel to an international student lender and advising consumer finance companies in connection with mergers and acquisition and large sources of warehouse funding.

Before entering private practice, Daniel was a law clerk for Hon. Lisa Godbey Wood, Chief Judge of the Southern District of Georgia.
