Samuel Dykstra


Samuel is an associate in the firm’s Business and Transactions Department, focusing his practice on mergers and acquisitions. He has experience in not only public and private mergers and asset/stock acquisitions and divestitures, but also minority investments, joint ventures, IPOs and other securities offerings, corporate reorganizations, real estate transactions, and corporate financings.

Samuel has also provided assistance to his clients on environmental, health and safety matters in transactions. His clients have included public and private businesses, private equity firms and financial institutions.


Representative Matters

Represented a sole proprietor in the sale of an insurance agency to a full-service insurance brokerage platform. Client received a mix of 85% cash and 15% equity (a rollover equity position in a subsidiary of the Buyer) and entered into a multi-year employment agreement under which the client will stay involved with the business post-closing.
