Aaron E. Brown advises public and private companies on mergers, acquisitions, sales, corporate formation, regulatory compliance, and other day-to-day legal and business matters. Prior to joining Ballard Spahr, Aaron was a judicial law clerk for the Minnesota Court of Appeals.

While in law school, Aaron worked in the Anoka County Attorney's Office, where he conducted pre-trial negotiations and appeared in both the expedited process court and the district court. As a 2016 Ballard Spahr summer associate, Aaron worked on matters involving business litigation, commercial transactions, employment law, financial institutions, and insurance recovery.

  • Assisted Spell Capital Partners in connection with their acquisition of Pearson's Candy Company
  • Assisted a commercial financing company in connection with its purchase of $330 million in credit card receivables
  • Assisted a family-owned logistics company in connection with a $60 million stock sale to a private equity firm
