Sonja "Sunny" Beddow advises clients in a wide range of real estate matters and transactions. Her experience includes property purchases and sales, title and survey review, lease negotiation and drafting, and mixed-use development.

Sunny also has advised corporate clients on business litigation, including analysis of risk and exposure. Her work matters have included:

  • Negotiating leases on behalf of national landlord in mixed-use buildings
  • Representing Big Brothers Big Sisters of Minnesota in the purchase of their new Minneapolis headquarters
  • Representing small business client in the sale of two multitenant residential buildings
  • Assisting industrial client on acquisition of adjoining vacant land for expansion of client’s facilities
  • Negotiating rent abatement for small business client impacted by COVID-19

Pro Bono Experience

Sunny’s pro bono work includes working with small businesses on lease negotiations, assisting nonprofits in the purchase and sale of property, representing children in the foster care system through Children’s Law Center, and helping refugees navigate the asylum process.
