Barbara R. Beckman has acted as bond counsel, underwriter's counsel, borrower's counsel, and counsel to banks providing credit enhancement in tax-exempt and taxable financings in over 20 states for colleges and universities, charter schools, retirement communities and other long-term health care facilities, industrial development projects, pollution control projects, and housing projects.

Barbara has experience with a wide range of financing structures, including traditional fixed-rate, variable-rate, and multimodal structures involving various forms of credit enhancement and liquidity support.

Pro Bono Experience

Barbara has represented dozens of abused and neglected children in Philadelphia over more than 15 years through the Support Center for Child Advocates.
