Dina Bleckman represents clients in a wide range of commercial real estate transactions, including the acquisition, disposition, development and leasing of multifamily, retail, office and industrial properties. She reviews, drafts and negotiates leases, purchase agreements, loan agreements and related ancillary documents, and conducts all manner of associated due diligence review. In addition, Dina counsels clients in land use, zoning, and historic preservation matters. This experience includes reviewing projects for Philadelphia Zoning Code compliance, preparing applications for municipal approval, and representing clients before administrative bodies and state and local courts.

Experience 

Representative Matters

  • Represented a real estate investment and development firm in defending the appeal of its municipal approvals for construction of a 31-story residential tower in downtown Philadelphia.
  • Represented a Fortune 500 company in all real estate related aspects of a corporate restructuring, including the disposition and reconfiguration of numerous shared business sites. 
  • Represented the New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) in the $415 million revitalization of 2,625 public housing units under HUD’s Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) conversion, Section 18, and Section 200 programs.

Pro Bono Experience

Dina maintains a robust pro bono practice, representing not-for-profit organizations in real estate transactions and through the municipal approvals process. Dina is also an active volunteer with the Wills for Heroes Foundation, a national nonprofit that provides estate-planning documents, including wills, living wills, and powers of attorney for veterans, first responders and emergency personnel.
