Daniel Arellano represents clients in government affairs, complex litigation, and white collar criminal defense and investigations. As part of his focus on political and election law, he represents candidates, donors, PACs, ballot measure proponents, trade associations, nonprofit organizations, and corporations in compliance, litigation, and government enforcement defense throughout the United States. He is regularly called upon to analyze and litigate complex questions of public and constitutional law.
Daniel is particularly experienced in appellate litigation and critical motions practice. He has briefed and argued cases before state and federal appellate courts, and he works with trial counsel on issue preservation, interlocutory and extraordinary relief proceedings, and post-trial motion practice in preparation for appeal.
Pro Bono Experience
Daniel maintains a robust pro bono practice. He has represented pro bono clients in immigration proceedings, landlord-tenant disputes, and civil rights litigation, often applying his appellate expertise in obtaining relief for clients on appeal and representing the interests of amici curiae.
