Arwa A. Abdelmoula represents corporate lenders, private equity firms, and investment companies in real estate transactions. Arwa advises clients on a variety of commercial real estate matters, including acquisitions, finance transactions, and leases. She reviews, drafts, and negotiates mortgage and mezzanine loan documents, leases, condominium declarations and bylaws, reciprocal easement agreements, and other ancillary documents. Arwa also analyzes management agreements, joint venture agreements, title policies, and surveys.

Prior to joining Ballard Spahr, Arwa was as an associate in the real estate practice group of a major international law firm in New York City, where she represented clients in the acquisition, disposition, and financing of a variety of commercial properties, including office buildings, industrial complexes, and mixed-use projects. Prior to entering the legal profession, Arwa worked for Human Rights Watch, a nonprofit human rights organization, where she assisted with researching and writing of press releases and reports, and conducted interviews with abuse victims in Arabic.
