Shaun Armstrong is an associate in the firm’s Finance Department, focusing his practice on real estate finance matters. Shaun has extensive experience managing litigation activity, researching and drafting legal arguments for use in legal filings. He has also managed pre-trial discovery, performed initial client interviews, conducted client management, negotiated settlements with opposing counsel, and drafted motions, briefs, settlement agreements and contracts, wills, powers of attorney, and other estate administration documents.
Prior to Ballard Spahr, Shaun worked as an associate attorney, law office manager, and paralegal where he spent more than 15 years honing his experience in managing every stage of a litigated matter while also assisting in running a small but busy law firm. Some of his duties during this time included researching and drafting memoranda, increasing the efficiency of bookkeeping functions, and managing junior legal support staff, among many other responsibilities.
