Peter is an associate in the firm’s Litigation Department, focusing his practice on commercial litigation matters. He is a former summer associate and joins the firm after completing a two-year clerkship with the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado.
Prior to joining Ballard Spahr, Peter worked for the San Mateo County Office of the County Counsel as a summer law clerk, where he drafted memoranda and correspondence on topics ranging from voting rights to tax and compensation. During law school, Peter externed with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of California, where he assisted with misdemeanor prosecutions and regularly appeared in federal magistrate court. Peter also served as a teaching assistant for legal writing and appellate advocacy in his second and third years of law school.
