
Sumbul Alam is an associate in the firm’s Real Estate Department, focusing her practice on affordable housing and community development matters. She has worked on transactions involving low-income housing tax credits (LIHTC), Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD), and tax-exempt bond financing. As a 2019 Summer Associate, Sumbul conducted legal research and drafted internal memoranda relating to a variety of real estate matters, including issues in public housing and construction law contracts, as well as regulatory issues for both transactional and litigation purposes.
