Mudasar Khan is a member of Ballard Spahr's Litigation Department. His practice focuses on complex corporate and commercial litigation in both state and federal courts. Mudasar’s experience includes managing electronic discovery, drafting discovery requests and responses, arguing at hearings to resolve discovery disputes, taking depositions, preparing fact and expert witnesses to give testimony, negotiating settlements, and briefing dispositive motions.

Mudasar also advises clients on various privacy and cybersecurity matters. Mudasar has experience drafting company privacy policies, document retention programs, and incident response plans. In addition, Mudasar ensures companies are complaint with various privacy and cybersecurity statutes and regulations, such as the California Consumer Privacy Act and helps clients navigate through related compliance issues when completing mergers or acquisitions.

Prior to law school, Mudasar served as an aide to the Kansas Senate Minority Leader, where he researched and tracked bills between the Kansas Senate and House of Representatives, drafted memoranda analyzing proposed legislation, and worked with legislative counsel to brief caucus members on school finance litigation.

Mudasar was a 2016 and 2017 Ballard Spahr summer associate.
