Philip B. Korb

The Philadelphia area has been a hotbed for mixed-use development recently. Please join us as the people behind many of the largest mixed-use development projects discuss the issues at play, current challenges, and the state of the local market. Join our distinguished faculty as they explore the issues at play.

Speakers include Philip B. Korb, a Ballard Spahr real estate partner known for his work on many of the region’s most notable projects, including the $160 million Rodin Square mixed-use development. Mr. Korb will be joined by John Gattuso, Senior Vice President of Liberty Property Trust, one of the nation’s largest real estate companies and a force behind the development of the Comcast Innovation and Technology Center. Michael L. Prifiti, an architect involved in the $600 million East Market project, and Anne Bovaird Nevins, Senior Vice President for Marketing and Business Development at the Philadelphia Industrial Development Corporation, also will lend their expertise to the conversation.

Speakers will discuss the advantages of mixed-use development for developers, tenants, lenders, and municipalities, as well as how to identify and avoid potential obstacles. Also on the agenda: how does the Philadelphia region stack up in the mixed-use market?
