Panelists

Craig M. Circosta
Jason A. Leckerman

Program

The announcement of an increased number of large M&A transactions during the beginning of 2013 resulted in the fastest start to a year since 2005. But while optimism in the M&A market appears to be growing, government agencies are shining a brighter spotlight on deal making. Anticipating scrutiny is more important than ever before.

Mr. Circosta and Mr. Leckerman will participate on a panel focusing on current considerations concerning the preparation and negotiation of M&A agreements, particularly as they relate to antitrust issues and the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. They will be joined by James Leyden, Deputy General Counsel at Teleflex Incorporated, who will provide the perspective of in-house counsel at a large, multinational corporation.
