Ballard Spahr's Holly Horsley Recognized as a "New Leader of the Bar" in New Jersey

Holly Horsley, a Ballard Spahr attorney who focuses on public finance matters, has been selected as one of New Jersey's "New Leaders of the Bar" by the New Jersey Law Journal.

The "New Leaders of the Bar" award honors attorneys who have demonstrated talent, dedication, and professional accomplishments serving clients and contributing to the legal profession in New Jersey. Honorees will be recognized at an event on June 21 in Florham Park and will be profiled in an upcoming Law Journal supplement.

Based in the firm's New Jersey office in Cherry Hill, Ms. Horsley focuses her practice on municipal finance matters, serving as bond counsel, underwriter's counsel, issuer's counsel, borrower's counsel, trustee's counsel, and bank counsel in a broad variety of financings. Her experience includes transactions involving colleges, universities, charter schools, hospitals, continuing care retirement communities, and other nonprofit entities.

Ms. Horsley is a member of Ballard Spahr's Public Finance Department, one of the premier public finance practices in the country, participating in the issuance of more than $1 trillion of tax-exempt obligations in all states, the District of Columbia, and U.S. territories. Since 1958, the department has been listed continuously as a nationally recognized bond counsel firm in The Bond Buyer's Municipal Marketplace (the Red Book).
