Charles A. Stillman, a prominent white collar criminal defense attorney and managing partner of Ballard Spahr Stillman & Friedman, was presented with the Founder’s Award by the Anti-Defamation League (ADL).

Mr. Stillman, whose clients have included leading political figures, former cabinet officials, and Fortune 500 corporations, received the award for his role in the creation of the ADL Lawyers’ Division as well as decades of service to the League.

“ADL is on the front lines in the battle against prejudice and hate,” said Mr. Stillman. “The ADL’s mission to foster tolerance and understanding has never been more important. It is an honor to be recognized for participating in that struggle.”

The Lawyers’ Division provides guidance and support for legal positions and initiatives of ADL’s New York region. Founded in 1913, the ADL is a national civil rights/human relations organization dedicated to fighting anti-Semitism and other forms of bigotry and to protecting civil rights through programs and services that counteract prejudice.
