Real estate attorney Philip B. Korb provides insight and new resources for real estate professionals in his Second Edition of Pennsylvania Condominiums: Model Forms and Commentary. Published by Pennsylvania Bar Institute Press, the book is an update to the First Edition authored by Mr. Korb in 2007.

“We have long experience in condominium and planned community development, and I wanted to provide a practical resource for practitioners,” said Mr. Korb. “I thought a second edition was needed to provide updated guidance after the Pennsylvania Uniform Condominium Act was amended last fall, and to reflect the many changes in the marketplace and legal environment after the real estate downturn of the late 2000s.”

Mr. Korb’s First Edition was based on the 2005 amendment to the act. The Second Edition provides many updates, including changes to “best practices” regarding condominium documents, association remedies for the delinquent unit owner, and other topics.

The 204-page book includes the most recent amendments, model form bylaws, public offering statement, declaration and public offering schedules, and checklists.

We invite you to read an overview of the book. For more information, or to order the Second Edition of Pennsylvania Condominiums: Model Forms and Commentary, call 800.932.4637 or visit www.pbi.org. Purchase of the book includes CD-ROM and the publisher’s automatic update service.
