Ballard Spahr Chief Diversity Officer Virginia G. Essandoh has been named a Fellow of the College of Law Practice Management, a nonprofit organization for legal professionals. She will be inducted at the 2014 Futures Conference and Annual Meeting in October.

Formed in 1994, the College of Law Practice Management honors distinguished law practice management professionals, sets standards of achievement for others in the profession, and funds and assists projects that enhance the quality of law practice management.

The College’s Fellows work to develop, exchange, and disseminate legal professional knowledge based on their respective specialty areas. Ms. Essandoh is the first legal diversity and inclusion professional to be inducted into the College.

“Virginia will be an exceptional resource for other legal professionals who want to expand their diversity and inclusion efforts, just as she is at Ballard,” said Firm Chair Mark Stewart. “The honor is well deserved.”
