Ballard Spahr partner Hara K. Jacobs has been named to IP Stars – Top 250 Women in IP, a new publication from Managing Intellectual Property magazine that identifies the leading female IP attorneys in the United States. Attorneys included in the book were selected based on more than 1,000 interviews and surveys by partners and law firms across the country.

Ms. Jacobs is known for her work litigating intellectual property matters, including trademark, trade dress, copyright, right of publicity, trade secret, misappropriation, false advertising, and patent cases. She regularly litigates in federal and state courts and before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.

Earlier this year, Ms. Jacobs was recognized by Managing Intellectual Property as one of the 2013 "IP Stars" in Pennsylvania for her skill in identifying, securing, and protecting clients' innovations.
