Ballard Spahr business and finance attorney Heike K. Sullivan, who counsels high-net-worth individuals and families on taxation and estate planning matters, became a partner on July 1, firm Chair Mark S. Stewart announced.

Ms. Sullivan, who is of Bangladeshi descent, is a member of Ballard Spahr’s Business and Finance Department and its Family Wealth Management Group. She drafts wills, inter vivos trusts, and prenuptial agreements, and establishes family limited partnerships and LLCs. She also advises executors and trustees in the administration of estates and trusts.

Ms. Sullivan was born in Philadelphia to a Bangladeshi mother and German father, both of whom moved to the United States to study for their Ph.D.s. She is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and the Temple University James E. Beasley School of Law. Ms. Sullivan's pro bono work includes being active in Wills for Heroes, a program providing essential legal documents free of charge to our nation's first responders, including wills, living wills, and powers of attorney.
