Ballard Spahr has relocated its San Diego office to the 16th floor of Advanced Equities Plaza in the heart of downtown.

“It certainly is a good location for a law firm,” said San Diego Office Managing Partner Thomas W. McNamara, a former federal prosecutor and noted litigator. “It also gives us more space, which is in line with our plans to grow our litigation capabilities in San Diego and Southern California.”

Ballard Spahr represents clients worldwide in litigation, business and finance, real estate, intellectual property, and public finance. It has offices throughout the eastern, southeastern, and western United States.

The firm opened its San Diego office—its second in California—last November with the addition of five attorneys from the boutique litigation firm La Bella & McNamara. The attorneys in the San Diego office handle white collar defense, regulatory enforcement, and complex litigation, including federal grand jury and Securities and Exchange Commission probes and claims of fraud, tax evasion, and other financial crimes.

The new office is at 655 West Broadway, Suite 1600, San Diego, CA 92101-8494.
