Tina R. Makoulian, co-partner-in-charge of Ballard Spahr's Zoning and Land Use Group, has been elected to the 2011 Board of Directors of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Network.

CREW Network seeks to advance the achievements of women within the commercial real estate industry by facilitating business connections, offering targeted leadership training, and conducting industry-specific research. The Network comprises 73 chapters across North America.

"CREW Network has provided me with countless tools and opportunities to further my career," said Ms. Makoulian. "As a Board member, I look forward to continuing to help women in the industry achieve success as they define it."

Ms. Makoulian joins the Board after serving as President of CREW Philadelphia and Chair of the 2010 CREW Network Recognition Committee. At Ballard Spahr, she focuses on real estate development, zoning and land use, and leasing, acquisition, and disposition of commercial properties. Ms. Makoulian is also a fellow of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers.
