Litigator Constantinos G. Panagopoulos has returned to Ballard Spahr as a partner in the Washington, D.C., office, firm Chair Arthur Makadon announced today.

"Dino's return to the Litigation Department in Washington is special in a number of different ways," Mr. Makadon said. "One is that we have an excellent litigator returning to our most prominent department. It also is reassuring to have a partner like Dino come back to Ballard after trying out life at another firm."

Mr. Panagopoulos left the firm in 2009 to join the litigation and labor and employment practices at Eckert Seamans Cherin & Mellott, LLC, in Washington, D.C.

Mr. Panagopoulos is a general commercial litigator who represents clients in an array of matters ranging from labor and employment to real estate finance disputes, banks and banking matters, and general business disputes. He represents employers and management in civil rights litigation, including discrimination and harassment matters. He handles grievance arbitrations, restrictive covenant/trade secret claims, daily employment counseling, RIF planning, and AAPs and DOL audits, among other issues.

Mr. Panagopoulos is a graduate of Baylor University and earned his J.D. from George Washington University Law School, where he graduated with honors.
