Abran Vigil, an attorney known for his work in commercial litigation, has joined the Litigation Department in the Las Vegas office of Ballard Spahr. He is a member of the Complex Commercial Litigation, Consumer Financial Services, and Insurance Groups and the Distressed Real Estate Initiative.

As a commercial litigator, Mr. Vigil focuses on contested regulatory proceedings, crisis management, trade practice disputes, business torts, and covenants not to compete and represents the insurance industry in non-claims litigation and regulatory matters. He comes to Ballard Spahr as of counsel from Lewis and Roca LLP.

A graduate of the University of New Mexico and Drake University Law School, with honors, Mr. Vigil is a member of the American and Clark County Bar Associations and the Defense Research Institute. He is admitted to practice in Nevada, the U.S. District Court for the District of Nevada, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
