First responders throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey will have the opportunity to receive free wills and estate planning from Ballard Spahr attorneys in the months ahead, as part of the Wills for Heroes public service project.

Wills for Heroes is a nonprofit organization created following September 11, when it was discovered that many of the first responders who died did not have estate plans. Ballard Spahr has participated in Wills for Heroes events across the nation since 2007 and is working to expand the program.
