Ballard Spahr Andrews & Ingersoll, LLP is a co-sponsor of the Law School Admission Council (LSAC) Minority Pre-Law Conference on March 12 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center.

Tobey M. Daluz, managing partner of the firm's Wilmington, DE, office and co-chair of the firm's diversity committee, and Mary Gay Scanlon, coordinator of Ballard's Constitution High School pipeline program and pro bono executive director, will represent the firm at the luncheon.

The all-day conference familiarizes minority high school students with the legal profession.  Students will have the opportunity to interact with lawyers and college and law school representatives on a variety of topics.  Panelists will discuss the application process for college and law school, the SATs and ACTs, college financial aid, what type of academic performance is crucial to law school success and how to pursue a law career.  The entire student body from Constitution High School, the Philadelphia public school with which Ballard has a career development partnership, will attend the event.

Ballard Spahr lawyer Adiah Ferron, an associate in the Business and Finance Department, will be a featured panelist at the seminar.  Ferron will discuss her experiences as a practitioner in the legal profession.
