On March 3, employees of Ballard Spahr Andrews & Ingersoll, LLP observed Read Across America Day by participating in a Dr. Seuss arts and crafts reading program at Bancroft NeuroHealth in Haddonfield, NJ.  Ballard Spahr was also a sponsor for the event.   Bancroft NeuroHealth was founded in 1883 and offers services including educational, vocational, residential rehabilitation, and therapeutic interventions to individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, brain injuries, and other neurological impairments.

Classrooms ranged in size from five to 20 students, who vary in age from elementary school through young adulthood.  Activities in which Ballard Spahr attorneys, paralegals, and support staff participated included reading aloud to the students, listening to stories read by the students themselves, and even portraying such Suessian notables as Horton the Elephant.
